| JAK was: Julie, Chris, Brian and Ken but then all the boys went bye bye. Julie kept the songs going and played a handful of solo shows. Then she met super cool Patricia who filled in on drums and some vocals, and it was decided that two girls was enough to make a whole band. Now both girlies are in school full-time so shows are few and far between but in Spring 06' look for comeback shows in LA and San Diego... |  |

Heroes in Transition presents each artists interpretation of ?heroism and what this means in todays world, against the backdrop of the turbulent recent history of their region. Within the exhibition, Hollywood icons, political figures, mythical legends and even architectural structures are presented as ?the hero through the use of film, installation, painting and the documentation of controversial public art commissions. The Breakout Tour – Janette Parris with Going South After years of steadily playing the pubs and clubs of London, Going South are finally heading North for their biggest live gig to date. This June, the distinctive voice of Janette Parris will grace the main stage at Nottinghams legendary Rock City, with old favourites including the top ten classic by Nottinghams very own Swing Out Sister. Coinciding with the gig at Rock City, a gallery exhibition and poster campaign across Nottingham city centre will introduce the band members and hint at their fabled exploits.
