The Donkey Show

[MISSING: tagline]

Every once in a while, a rock n' roll band arrives with the nerve, ambition, and confidence to do something different. Often this attempt is marked by a unique sound or a defining look that separates them from other bands. Other times, a group stands out because they dare to stretch themselves as artists and as performers. Bassist Amanda Brown, drummer Sean Doyle, guitarist Russ Hines, and singer Tony Treviño are currently doing something that is both ambitious and wildly intriguing. The quartet have determined to create a performance-oriented project, consisting of three different musical presentations. Each of these offers a live show that is both visually and sonically stimulating.

The collective name for all three shows is The Donkey Show. Led by Treviño's animated and charismatic vocal performance, each show presented by The Donkey Show is what a live rock n' roll show should be: loud, energetic, and thoroughly intriguing.

The show titles at this time are "DIRT, The Tribute" A Musical Salute to Alice in Chains, "After Silence, The Experience" An Original-Music Adventure, and The Donkey Show.

The band also performs a wildly entertaining set of covers. Its title is simply The Donkey Show, and is without a doubt the most party-friendly act. Featuring songs by Alice in Chains, Filter, Stone Temple Pilots, A Perfect Circle, Ozzy Osbourne, Velvet Revolver, The Cult, and many more. The Donkey Show is a live show that encourages people to let loose and enjoy themselves. Treviño adds that this is perhaps the most requested outfit, as he has found it to be "the band that people hire to play three sets in a night for their club or private party." Because of the familiarity of the songs they cover, The Donkey Show is quickly gaining in popularity.

The members of The Donkey Show believe that the eyes are often hungrier than the ears. They view each of their three acts as an opportunity to sufficiently feed both the eyes and the ears. Their music and their visual aspect is powerful. With clean and clear vocals on top of loud guitars, drums, and bass, the band is quickly making a name for themselves in the hard rock, live-music scene. Perhaps the most appealing aspect of The Donkey Show, however, is their willingness to step outside their respective comfort zones. They are consistently challenging themselves, and the fruits of their labor are becoming more evident with each show.

Caffeine! An Addictive Musical
Caffeine-An Addictive Musical is the latest interactive musical created by Events on the Edge Productions.  This show is not just your typical daily grind!

Perhaps you know one of those people that no one should talk to unless they have had at least 10 cups of coffee in the morning? Or...perhaps you ARE one of those people?

Then you need a kick start to your day! Whether you are a Coffee addict or hater, this new show could be just your cup of tea!

Join the zany cast of java crazed characters that include tacky lounge duo Max Well House & Mrs. Olsen; actor Juan Valdez; Mr. Coffee's PR rep Melita Cone and reformed coffee addict Jackie Jitters!  As they arrive for the performance, chaos ensues when they find that the rest of the cast, including Miss Barista, the Hills Brothers and Juans donkey are missing...but the show must go on!

Created as a highly interactive theater show, full of audience participation, singing, group dancing & overall wackiness, we get you up & moving, even if you can't dance worth a hill of (coffee) beans!  Since we are now missing some of our cast, we need YOU to fill roles and show us your skills.  We even need help crowning a new Miss (Or Mr.) Barista.

Just give it a shot (make it a double shot) and feel the buzz of Caffeine.

THIS SHOW IS GROUNDS FOR A GOOD TIME!

Zurich Toy Museum: Beastly Pleasures -Steiff Animals - Button in Ear-
Margarete Steiff - a life for a cuddly stuffed animal. The history of Margarete Steiff began in a small town of Swabia, in Giengen at the Brez River. On July 24, 1847, Margarete was born as a daughter of construction foreman Friedrich Steiff. She later founded the Margarete Steiff shareholder company in her home town. Small gifts keep a friendship alive. Margarete Steiff knew this, when she stitched together her first small felt elephants as Christmas gifts for her friends and acquaintances. The fact that this homegrow production should lead to the Margarete Steiff GmbH and to a leading company in the market of stuffed animals within four generations shows how extraordinary this woman was. The turnover of the Margarete Steiff productions rapidly increased. Starting only with the small elephants in the year 1880, monkeys, donkeys, camels, and other animals were soon to follow, among them the legendary Steiff teddybear. The smart lady used to see this amicable toy in the arms of the
