Great sound quality, lots of room for dancing and a dedication to showcasing the best bands in San Diego has slowly but surely turned this rag-tag venue into one of San Diego's most popular nightspots.

A predominantly twenty something crowd comes here, mixed in with older locals from the neighborhood who frequent this bar for its relaxed vibe.

Located right off Ocean Beach's main drag, Newport Avenue, Winstons is almost worth checking out just for the black-light glow of the psychedelic paintings covering its walls and ceiling. Aging hippies should remember to bring a handkerchief for the occasional tear.

People also like to get their groove on in the game corner, on the pool table and pinball machine. If it's early enough you'll find ample parking in front of the club. If not, troll around local streets for that sweet spot.
